Hola!
First I would like to start by saying Happy Birthday Juan!
I am really looking forward to this year and all the exciting things planned. I have a team of competitors that are training really hard and I love transforming their physiques. I really love my job – it’s very rewarding!
This week I was reminded of something that can be really detrimental to training and achieving your personal fitness goals: Stress. It is crucial to keep your stress manageable and under control. For me I need to be very organized, get enough rest and set aside personal time for training and myself in order to keep stress levels low. The stress hormone cortisol can lead to trouble losing stubborn body fat and can even lead to over eating which leads to feelings of guilt and unhappiness. Therefore, do what you can to keep your stress to a minimum.
Moreover, surround yourself with positive people who support your fitness goals. Being dedicated and achieving your goals is very rewarding. You will make many friends in the fitness industry that will support you; however, there will always be people in your life that do not understand you and your achievements. Try not to let this get in the way of reaching your goals. Surround yourself with positive support people as often as you can!
